Overview
Incantations is a fashion publication crafted to reimagine the story of two cherished characters from Walt Disney's Haunted Mansion attraction, Master Gracey and Madame Leota. Through photography, set design, clothing design, lighting, typography, and layout, Incantations narrates the enchantment of Master Gracey and the erasure of his late wife's memory by the mansion's resident medium, Madame Leota.

Process
The entirety of Incantations was photographed against a small wall in a conference room. Given the physical constraints of the space, I used fabric, textures, and unique light sources, including candles and a crystal ball, to craft the illusion of foreboding, spirit-possessed walls and a séance room inspired by different aspects of the Haunted Mansion attraction in Walt Disney World and Disneyland.
The publication is infused with Easter eggs referencing the attraction, including artwork by Disney animator and Imagineer Marc Davis, who contributed to the attraction.
